Check this one out!

 Two coats of Orly Rococo A-Go-Go (name, y u so silly?!).

 The formula was a bit too thick and almost tricky for me - I definitely should have just thinned it right away.

 Still, it's absolutely to die for, and it turned out just fine!

 The next day, I added a coat of Inglot 202 flakes.  Here are a few indoor pics first.

 YIKES!  SO BEAUTIFUL!

 As you will see in a moment, the flakes look mostly orange in the bottle, so I was pleasantly surprised to see so much green come out to play!

 It's rainbow-rific, that's for sure.

 Now for some outdoor pictures.

 I definitely need to wear more flakes.  Definitely.

 I really like the Inglot flakies because they come out so dense and easily.  I just wish the bottle wasn't so tiny!

 It's nice to see so many companies jumping on the bandwagon now.

 Hopefully we won't be having any more flakie polish shortages in the near future.  :)

 Check it out!

 This is one coat of Ozotic Pro 507 shown over black.

 It's so glowly, metallic, gorgeous!

 It's mainly an electric, hot, chartreuse green.

 It also leans to a yellow gold, lush green, almost blue-green, and then that rusty bronze that I'm really loving!

 I had to be careful with my application as it could easily be filled with brush strokes.

 It's a fun look and these nails definitely scream out for attention!

Better than Peridot?  You decide.  It's louder, that's for sure!

 So...I may have been dragging my feet a little in posting this one.  It's two coats of China Glaze Trendsetter with a coat of Anna Sui 802.

 This was inspired and requested by a dear friend at work.

 Here's the thing - I know it's ugly.  I still feel compelled to occasionally buy and even wear ugly polish colors.  It's true.  At least it's GLITTERY and ugly!

Yes, I do realize it's not going to be everyone's favorite mani.  I'm okay with that.  :)  Just posting for the sake of posting.  And who knows?  Maybe even a few people do like it!  I was surprised that I got a couple of compliments when wearing it.

Here I started with two coats of Zoya Envy.  

 I added one, that's right, just one, coat of Lynnderella's She Lived in a Swamp.

 I used a coat of Lynnderella's Glitter Tamer after, followed by two coats of Poshe.

 This one is quite the oddity in my experience because it has pieces of bar-like glitter that are actually curly.  They have a curve to them!  It made the application a little tricky and is also why I needed three coats of something afterword so I didn't feel the little curved bits sticking out.

 Well worth any difficulty, though!  I do love this and have already received numerous compliments and inquiries as to what is on my nails.

 They are quite thick looking, although glassy smooth.  I don't enjoy the thick look personally, but I'm learning to deal with it.  :)

If you don't know anything about Lynnderella's polish, please feel free to check out her blog here.  She is a very talented person who occasionally sells her polish to normally less talented people like myself!  The only downside is that you can't just buy her polish whenever you feel like it (that I know of) - she has to be in production with it and you'd be best to stalk her blog for more info.

As I'm sure you probably know, I'm not a big swatcher. I kind of hate swatching. But I received some encouragement from my friends on MUA and busted a move earlier this afternoon! I swatched the new Revlon scented Fizz polishes. All are shown at three coats with no top coat.

From left to right: Pineapple Fizz, Orange Fizz, Grapefruit Fizz, and Watermelon Fizz.

My nails are stained, which sucks. I would totally wear these sheer if they weren't stained! At any rate, I can see these being great for layering and also some would be fine on their own with three or four coats, probably.

From left to right: Colada Fizz (the bottle looks baby blue), Apple-tini Fizz, Mint Fizz, and Grape Fizz.

Mint is quite opaque, actually. It also stains like crazy!

Grape might be my favorite, but I really do like them all. The glass-flecked shimmer is so lovely and almost looks like wee little flakies!

I wish I could tell you more about the scents but I have quite the head cold right now. :( In the swatching process I recall generally fruitiness and I do believe I smelled the mint. That's about all I know. I scratched the stickers on the bottles in the store and actually liked how they all smelled. Scented polish is a double-edged sword for me. I very much enjoy the novelty but also find that I get annoyed by the smell at the same time!

Here is Sally Hansen HD in Hue. I did three coats.

This is a very frosty, bright, light yellow with shimmer. It's really glowy and attention-seeking!

I took several different pictures of this in various types of light and settings, but most are too awful for me to show you. These two are the only decent ones. Truthfully, I had a bit of trouble on the application. There were several bumps, lumps, and bubbles. Mostly bubbles, I fear. I cannot stand bubbles. I loathe bubbles.

This is the first post I have regarding the newly reformulated Sephora polishes. I picked up several when they launched about a month ago. They have gorgeous brightly colored cremes and a rainbow to choose from.

This is Yellow Umbrella. I believe I did two coats, but it might have been three.

The brush is wider and the polish supposedly dries faster. I think they were trying to mimic the SH Insta-Dris. I'm not going to comment on the dry time because I always use a quick-dry top coat and don't have any memory of the dry time being out of the ordinary in either direction.

Needless to say, this is a beautiful polish that applied very well and was a pleasure to work with and wear! It was a little weird getting used to the big brush, but I had it down in no time.

I'm so excited to show you my first official review!! Illamasqua was kind enough to send me Ruthless and Wayward for review. You all know how much I adore Illamsqua, so this is HUGE for me. :D I want you to know that I will always, always provide honest reviews, and the possibility or reality of a company sending me gratis polish will in no way affect my opinions. Also, I suppose I will have to get a pre-fab disclosure thingy pretty soon. In any case, on to the glorious polish!

Two coats of Ruthless, a delicious and most shiny medium red creme. It applied most excellently, as I have come to expect from Illamasqua. The polish just goes where you want it to go and flows very evenly off the brush. :)

It leans a wee bit warm, and looks a little more warm in these pictures than in real life due to some quirkiness factor of my uber pale skin and/or Canon ELPH camera.

If you didn't already know, Illamasqua is a line that prides itself for being an edgy, unique brand that encourages and promotes self-expression as well as discovering and enjoying your alter ego. Many of their products are geared toward night-time and night life, which I think is kind of cool and interesting. I, personally, do not, nor have ever really had an exciting night life by any means.

However, I can sure as heck appreciate beautiful colors and high performing products!

Wayward, a vivid mid-toned yellow creme, applied nicely for me in three coats.

It needed three coats to be perfectly smooth and even, but otherwise it had none of the problems that often present with yellow polishes.

I think this is a super fun color that is cheery and light-hearted whilst still being funky and interesting.

If you still haven't had the pleasure of trying Illamasqua, I do highly recommend them! I realize they are pricey, but if you are able to get a few of your favorite colors, I do not think you will regret it. You may just become a psycho-raving-lunatic fan, like myself...

Which, might be a good thing...and also might not! :)
