Here I started with one perfect, gorgeously opaque and creamy coat of a StrangeBeautiful polish.  It's a stunning tomato red creme.  I don't know which volume this was from.  Ugh.  Sorry!  I don't even care anymore.  But if you must know, I can probably figure it out.

 Then I added two coats of China Glaze Love Marilyn.  Pardon my cuticle oil!

 I had so much fun wearing this.  It was like having jewels on my nails.

 I took some weird pictures indoors with early morning golden sun.  Behold!

 Blingtastic!  But everything is looking too golden.

 If you don't already have Love Marilyn, I highly recommend that you get it.

 Application was easy and the wear was pretty good, too.

Sorry I didn't get better pictures in natural light.  I think, I hope, you get the idea, though!

 So...I may have been dragging my feet a little in posting this one.  It's two coats of China Glaze Trendsetter with a coat of Anna Sui 802.

 This was inspired and requested by a dear friend at work.

 Here's the thing - I know it's ugly.  I still feel compelled to occasionally buy and even wear ugly polish colors.  It's true.  At least it's GLITTERY and ugly!

Yes, I do realize it's not going to be everyone's favorite mani.  I'm okay with that.  :)  Just posting for the sake of posting.  And who knows?  Maybe even a few people do like it!  I was surprised that I got a couple of compliments when wearing it.

 For your reading and (mostly) viewing pleasure, I present yesterday's deep space nails on MATTE.

 I used two coats of Essie's Matte About You.  I realize that they still don't look 100% completely matte in all places.  I think the lesson learned (thanks to asking friends on MUA) is to not be stingy when using matte top coats!  :)

 You probably know me well enough to understand how much I like the shiny and the sparkly, yet for reasons fully unknown to me, I felt compelled to try this matte.  

My camera chose to focus only on the bottle in the picture above.  Not a total loss.  I'm mesmerized by all that glitter in the bottle!

My overall verdict?  It's pretty cool!  I'm intrigued by how the glitters appear frozen in time...and space.

 Today I'm sporting a manicure that definitely makes me think of outer space!  It's two coats of China Glaze Haunting with one coat of Lynnderella Bride of Franken.  Haunting is awesome and almost opaque in one coat - not quite, but points for almost!

 I used Orly In a Snap and then a color preserving top coat from Sally Beauty as my two top coats.  I'm not thrilled that the polish is not awesomely smooth, as you can probably see.  A friend on MUA told me that she uses In a Snap and likes it (I had asked her what she uses over KleanColors), so I'm going to use it for KleanColors and see how that goes.

 There's also a weird scratch across my ring finger nail.  Not sure how that happened but you can see it more in the last photo.

 Anyhow, I quite like this combination!  They are very pretty and spacey looking, which I love.

 I think I may put on a matte top coat tonight and see how that goes.

I think Bride of Franken is going to be really terrific over pretty much every dark color.

 I've probably lost my glitter loving mind with this one.

 I started with four coats of China Glaze CG in the City.  I wanted it to be as opaque as possible.

 Then I added a generous coat of Color Club It's a Hit!

 CG in the City is a funky mix of different colored tiny glitters.  Purple seems to be dominant when I look at the bottle, but on the nail I noticed a ton of silver and black (I think?), which gave it an overall kind of grayish silver feel.

 It's a Hit! is mega chunky purple textured hex glitter.  It actually wasn't too hard to handle during application.  The hexes mostly went where I wanted them to go, with a little coaxing.

 I used Lynnderella's Glitter Tamer and Poshe over everything and it was in fact nearly smooth.  :)

I can't remember which one, but this definitely reminds me of another mani I've done before.  Maybe it's just the silver and purple together.

I'm kind of in a hurry right now. So I'm just going to straight up spam you with a million pictures of my mani from yesterday, China Glaze 2Nite.

I did three coats over a base with no top coat.

Sadly, if you don't already own this one, it's going to be hard and/or expensive for you to get this as it's been discontinued for a while.

I'm not saying it's impossible. Oh no. Just not easy.

I do think it would be worth it to track this down. It's pretty freaking amazing.

It doesn't look nearly as amazing indoors...but still pretty nice.

This was from a couple of days ago. I had put it on, kind of in a hurry, late at night. I might not have added the Crackle except that there was this weird little piece of nail sticking up from out of the middle of the polish on my one thumb nail. I had to cover it somehow!

I used two coats of $OPI My Personal Serpent and then cracked it with China Glaze Medallion Crackle. My Personal Serpent is very opaque and I think I could have done just one coat had I been more careful.

I did not wait very long at all before putting the Crackle over (and didn't use top coat over My Personal Serpent), and it was kind of an interesting experiment!

Some of the cracks were epic and the most beautiful I've ever had - most, in fact! A few were really lame, though (like my pinky here).

It was a worthy experiment, in any case. I know I've heard from many that metallic/shimmery Crackles/Shatters work better for them over wet polish. Seems like it could be true for me, as well!

A couple of days ago I broke my right thumb nail. I panicked. So, naturally, Crackle was involved.

I trimmed and filed down the offending, broken thumb nail, then put China Glaze Tarnished Gold Crackle over everything. Somehow it eased the pain (not physical pain, thankfully)!

The base polish is Butter London Wallis.

I really like how this turned out and I have to say that I LOVE Tarnished Gold Crackle. It's so super pretty, especially in the bright sun. It has silver shimmer mixed in with the gold, which makes it both special and gorgeous.

It's a rainbow-licious gray holo that is super pretty in the sun. Check it out!

I used three coats of polish. Each coat of polish had a coat of Palladio Fuse base under it.

I'm still not used to this whole no top coat thing, but it seems to be working, so I guess I can survive!

I'm not sure, but this is probably the first time I've ever worn this groovy polish.

I wish they would re-release this collection. China Glaze, PLEASE!!! People need this in their lives.

We can hope, right?
