As I'm sure you probably know, I'm not a big swatcher. I kind of hate swatching. But I received some encouragement from my friends on MUA and busted a move earlier this afternoon! I swatched the new Revlon scented Fizz polishes. All are shown at three coats with no top coat.

From left to right: Pineapple Fizz, Orange Fizz, Grapefruit Fizz, and Watermelon Fizz.

My nails are stained, which sucks. I would totally wear these sheer if they weren't stained! At any rate, I can see these being great for layering and also some would be fine on their own with three or four coats, probably.

From left to right: Colada Fizz (the bottle looks baby blue), Apple-tini Fizz, Mint Fizz, and Grape Fizz.

Mint is quite opaque, actually. It also stains like crazy!

Grape might be my favorite, but I really do like them all. The glass-flecked shimmer is so lovely and almost looks like wee little flakies!
I wish I could tell you more about the scents but I have quite the head cold right now. :( In the swatching process I recall generally fruitiness and I do believe I smelled the mint. That's about all I know. I scratched the stickers on the bottles in the store and actually liked how they all smelled. Scented polish is a double-edged sword for me. I very much enjoy the novelty but also find that I get annoyed by the smell at the same time!

Ha ha! I really love the name of this polish, Adios Mo Fo, by BB Couture for Nails. It's pretty funny. Also, not one you necessarily want to tell the name of to your grandma or something.

I used two coats of Adios Mo Fo.

Then I topped it with a coat of Anna Sui 107.

This was a super pretty combination that I really enjoyed wearing.

The Anna Sui has big square silver glitters along with smaller silver glitter and iridescent blue glitter. Woo hoo!

I don't think the light blue jelly base of 107 would likely show up much on its own, but it would probably be very pretty with three or four coats (I'm thinking a la RBL Bikini Bottom)!

Time for a silver blinged out look! I started with two coats of China Glaze Cheers to You, from their Holiday collection. It's a standard silver chrome finish. It applied well.

I added a coat of Anna Sui 082, which is a clear base filled with silver chunky holographic glitter

Rose-scented silver blingtasticness!

I love glitters on top of metals, but I also find that they look odd or "off" somehow.

I wore this mani to my family's early Thanksgiving dinner that we had the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

My Mom was kind enough to have an early Thanksgiving dinner/get-together for us because she and my father were headed off to Tennessee to be with other family and my brother and sister-in-law, who also live in town here, were going to be going off to Michigan to be with other family.

That left Sid and I alone for actual Thanksgiving. Needless to say, our before Thanksgiving Thanksgiving was fabulous and delicious!!
I was thinking my manicure might blind or otherwise catch someone's attention at dinner, but alas, it did not!
Maybe everyone was busy thinking about how yummy the food was.
I do love a good silver polish, and Cheers to You is no exception.
The Anna Sui glitter is terrific as well. It has a big brush that makes it applying very easy. I say that, and I am not a fan of all big brushes. With this one, it works well.

I was so excited to get my first Paul & Joe polish recently. I ordered it off of Urban Outfitters' website. This is two coats of 005. I believe it also has the name Orchestral.

Above is a picture of the cute box it came in.

Okay, so I love this polish so much, it's really ridiculous.

The application was freakishly perfect. I mean, come on, at two coats, just look at it!

It has awesome, random tiny glitters of various colors.

The polish itself is very opaque yet has a squishy jelly-like quality to it, and looks very shiny.

And it's scented!! It has this indescribable soft woodsy scent. I feel like there is some sandalwood and maybe a hint of patchouli? Whatever it is, I adore it and would love to have more!

Yes, it's another almost-black. It has hints of gray as well as blue. Yes, it basically reads black in most lighting. Why am I so obsessed with these types of polish? I couldn't say. I just know I am.

It reminds me out outer space and starry skies, more things I love.

If you are still able to get this polish, do it!! Love, love, love, love, love it!
