This is two coats of Cult Nails Quench, a lovely red jelly, with two coats of KleanColor Chunky Holo Scarlet.

 Quench is ever so slightly pink-toned and Chunky Holo Scarlet is obviously not actually holo - the glitter pieces are iridescent and flash red, yellow, orange, and green.

I apologize for the less than amazing pictures!  The sun was setting and I didn't get a chance to take better pictures later as my mani chipped at around 24 hours.  Major bummer!  It definitely reminded me of my previous Essie Ruby Slippers mani, though.  It had that kind of glowy depth and firey beauty.

 Also, it must be said:  KleanColors stink quite literally and I think I may have to give up on them entirely as they do not ever want to fully dry on me!  I used three coats of different quick dry top coats on this mani and while it was top-layer dry very quickly, it remained dent-able and did not completely dry for hours and hours and hours.  Seriously.  Like, more than eight hours.  This is not okay, people!!  It must be a body chemistry thing.  It makes me very sad because I've acquired quite a few lovely KC glitters and shimmers and whatnot.

 I've been wearing this mani since Thanksgiving.  I hope that everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving Day, for those that observe it.  I enjoyed time with close family and super excellent and most delicious food!  Here I started with one coat of Cult Nails Time Traveler, seen in the bottle above and below.

 Time Traveler is wonderful!  Just be careful because clean up is not easy on this one.  It's uber pigmented and wants to stain everything it touches.

 Then I added two coats of Clairvoyant, the polish formerly known as (and the name I much prefer,) Unicorn Puke!

 What I failed to do in taking these hurried pictures before leaving the house for Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday is really capture that gorgeous yellowy-green ethereal glow that it takes on at just the right angles.

This is entirely magical.  My mother said that it's her favorite mani of all time!  I think that discredits quite a few awesome ones, but hey, I'll let her be.  Also, this slightly reminds me of a kamikaze flakie layering experiment I did quite a long time ago over a dark blue.  I used three or four different Nfu-Oh flakies and the result was somewhat similar!  They both remind me a lot of really cool, abstract stained glass.  And using Unicorn Puke...Clairvoyant...whichever, is much easier than many different separate polishes to get the same awesome result!

It also must be noted that I'm getting really good wear out of this mani.  I just put on a refresher top coat today (which I rarely ever use) because one corner started lifting a bit, but other than that, it looks perfect after three plus days.  Hooray!

I've never in my life actually wanted to put on a nude nail polish before. Never. But, the other night, for some reason unknown to me, I did want to put on a nude polish. Specifically, Cult Nails Cruisin' Nude. This is two coats, shown below. Sorry about the acetone abused skin!

Cruisin' Nude has a really pretty pink shimmer to it. I decided to add a coat of a long-time lemming for me that I just recently acquired, OPI What's Dune?

Aaaaahhhhhhhhh LOVES IT SO MUCH!!!

The holo is awesome, even with two top coats on! And it looks incredibly great in indoor lighting even when the holo is not revealing itself.

Understated yet flashy, dare I say? I have no idea what's going on with me that I'm craving this type of mani. In any case, I'm just going to go with it.
