Here is two coats of NerdLacquer Event Horizon.

 This polish is super awesome and was easy to apply.  It reminds me of a smaller glittered version of Lippmann's Across the Universe.

 This blessed manicure wore for three wonderful days!

 I used two coats of a-england Galahad and then two coats of Lynnderella Connect the Dots.

 I think I had a some tiny bubbles, but honestly I didn't even care because they blended in with the delicate shimmer particles.

 I really adore how this turned out.

 I know I stole the base color idea from a friend on the nail board (I can't remember exactly who, so speak up if it's you!).  I saw it a long time ago and it stuck out in my head as awesome.

 Also, I've been wanting to use this Lynnderella polish for some time now but was feeling unsure of exactly what to put under it.  I think probably everything would look good under it, but I wanted it to be nothing short of spectacular.

 Here's how my right hand turned out.  I think I may like it a little better, but both looked great really.  Check out the black glitter over the white glitter on my middle finger!  That's my favorite part.  :)

 Here are a few quick swatches I did back in July?  I think.  I thought you might like something to tide you over through the duration of my time wearing the Sally Hansen ghosties!  (The ghosties did come off tonight, by the way.)

 Above is Nars Vestale, a Nordstrom exclusive from the anniversary sale.  I don't remember how many coats, to be honest.  It was two or three, but I'm leaning toward just two.  :)

 Here is Sephora by OPI My Personal Serpent from this year's Fall collection.  This was either one or two coats because this polish is surprisingly very opaque.

 Here is Lippmann Billionaire.  Two or three coats - I'm not sure.  Sorry!

 And last but not least, Lippmann Stormy Weather.

I wish that I had written down how many coats each of the swatches were.  I regret that!  None of the swatches shown here feature any top coat.

This was from a couple of days ago. I had put it on, kind of in a hurry, late at night. I might not have added the Crackle except that there was this weird little piece of nail sticking up from out of the middle of the polish on my one thumb nail. I had to cover it somehow!

I used two coats of $OPI My Personal Serpent and then cracked it with China Glaze Medallion Crackle. My Personal Serpent is very opaque and I think I could have done just one coat had I been more careful.

I did not wait very long at all before putting the Crackle over (and didn't use top coat over My Personal Serpent), and it was kind of an interesting experiment!

Some of the cracks were epic and the most beautiful I've ever had - most, in fact! A few were really lame, though (like my pinky here).

It was a worthy experiment, in any case. I know I've heard from many that metallic/shimmery Crackles/Shatters work better for them over wet polish. Seems like it could be true for me, as well!

Earlier this week I had a weird day where I ended up changing my polish in quite a hurry before going to work. I very randomly decided on BB Couture for Nails Cleopatra.

This is just two coats and I took these pictures after two days of wear.

I hope you'll pardon the tip wear and smudge on my index finger. This was probably the quickest mani I've every done!

I'd worn Cleopatra before as a pedi and loved it. It's a really cool duochrome teal that has a strong green undercurrent and a purple flash that isn't showing well in my pictures.

Also, bear in mind that in low light this appears as a much darker blue. It's so pretty and mysterious!!

I also love the BB formula and brushes. The brush is pretty skinny, which seems to work well for me.

To those who are patiently waiting on TiNS wheel swatches - they are coming. It will probably be another few days before I can post them, though. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

This is TiNS The Perfect Prince. I used three coats. I probably could have gotten away with two coats, but was worried about that little bit of thinned appearance around the base/cuticles, that sometimes shows when you do one less coat than you should have.

I can't believe I only got one decent picture of this. I'm so mad at myself! It was raining when I took this on Sunday morning. Then I worked all day. During the Super Bowl, some of the corners started lifting. My left hand still looked good, though, so I was holding out for some sun light to take pictures Monday morning. Well, I woke up Monday morning with an evil migraine. YUCK! By the time it had subsided enough for me to get ready for work, I looked outside to the bright glaring sun and couldn't muster going out into it!

Long, boring story. This is why you only get one picture of The Perfect Prince. Reminds you of Charla or Atlantis, no? This is from an older collection, so I think it may be their predecessor!

Hello, Friends! I'm back! Sorry It took me so long to get organized here. I tried to post last night but was so tired I could hardly see straight! I had a lovely time with my friend, when I wasn't at work, so thank you for all the well-wishes. :)

To start this manicure, I used OPI Cuckoo For This Color. I'm not sure if it needed two or three coats...I'm leaning toward saying two. It's a gorgeous dark teal green.

I added a coat of Funky Fingers Blitzen.

Blitzen is a holo glitter in a green jelly base. The green jelly base leans a little bit blue but it's definitely more green than China Glaze Atlantis.

Now, I do think the result of these two combined does look a lot like Atlantis.

My best friend got Blitzen and some other REALLY cool Funky Finger polishes for me from Pennsylvania. She also got me two Jesse's Girls and a Snowman! I'm so grateful to her for picking out amazing colors for me of polishes I can't easily get here.

Obviously, I had a hard time figuring out how to hold the Funky Fingers bottle for pictures, without my fingers looking all contorted and strange next to the bottle.

I think I've got it down, now, though. Just gotta sneak that index finger around the other side of the bottle top.

Blitzen is just so pretty. If you can get it, you should!

The next time I use it, I'll have to try it just on its own, I think.

I hesitate to say this, but I might be entering a phase of using polishes on their own - as in not layered. Currently I have on one polish on my toes and one on my fingers. Craziness! It's too soon to say for sure, though.

This last picture is my favorite. :)

I have another StrangeBeautiful for you. It's a teal from volume 4. I only needed two coats.

It applied so perfectly. I can't say enough about how great the formula is on these!

I don't do a lot of cremes, you'll notice; at least, not by themselves. It's because I'm a bit of a perfectionist and it's so hard for me to get the surface to look smooth with the polish and the top coat! One tiny bubble infuriates me.

Also, I do love me some glittah, shimmah, and general blingtasticness. That being said, I did enjoy wearing this just as is. It's so smooth, pretty, and such a calming color.

I have only one picture of this, taken in my bathroom. I did two coats of Orly Viridian Vinyl, no top coat.

The picture doesn't look too terrible, but the application was rather dreadful for me. The polish was thick and goopy and I felt that it was hard to control and went on unevenly. I was so unhappy about the application and overall appearance that I took this straight off even before it dried. Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime...after thinning it?

This was my first time using RBL Teal, a polish loved by many. It applied flawlessly, and if my memory serves me, I think I did just one coat of it!

I put a coat of $OPI Club Scene Queen over top.

Club Scene Queen is a really shimmery, pretty polish that is rather sheer and methinks, just perfect for putting on top of lots of different colors!

My guess is that you could get a decent opacity with Club Scene Queen by doing three to four coats of it by itself. I have a feeling that the over all color would probably look a little smokier and less intensely blue/teal on its own.
