Taking amazing and accurate pictures of Girly Bits Cosmic Ocean was HARD.

 And I promise you that none of my pictures here are even remotely as stunning and beautiful as Cosmic Ocean is in person!  Not a bit!

 Here I've used one coat of black (a-england Camelot) and one coat of Cosmic Ocean over it.

 Cosmic Ocean sparkles and shines so much in the sun!  In indoor lighting it absolutely glows and looks like it's alive from within.

 It shifts rather dramatically from green to blue and then at times to an even deeper, royal blurple.

 It instantly made me think of peacock feathers!!

It's like having some sort of insane and glorious interpretation of peacock feathers on your nails.  I completely 100% heart it.

 These pictures here were taken indoors, and show more vivid and interesting shifts, I think.

 Still, SO MUCH BETTER in person.

 I'm wearing Girly Bits Street Magic as my pedi right now (over Diamond Cosmetics Under the Willow Tree - a dark teal sort of green) and I feel all decked out in color morphing pigment awesomeness!  Street Magic shifts from green to bronze to gold to olive to rust.  If you haven't heard about Pam's Girly Bits nail polishes yet,*you can learn more at her blog here.

 Cool!  Yeah, that's the name.  Cool surprised me by being awesomely pigmented.

 These swatches are shown at two coats over a clear base and with no top coat.  I would definitely wear this as a mani with just two coats!

 This is probably my second favorite of the Mari Moons!  I really like the richness and depth.

Want to know my very favorite?  You'll have to wait a little longer!

 Are you wondering what the heck Mari Moon means, like I am?  Well, apparently it's the stage name of a VJ on Brazilian MTV!  It looks like Mariana sells clothes, has vibrantly colored hair, and that the actual name "Mari Moon" was inspired by the Japanese Sailor Moon.  Cool!

 Cutie Pie is just lovely.  Blue, pink, and purple make me swoon.

Again, I would probably opt for three coats or to layer this over black for an actual manicure.  It looks just fine at two coats for these quick swatch pics, though.  Another beautiful Mari Moon awaits you tomorrow!

 Greetings, Nation!!  I have Mari Moon swatches for you!

 Yesterday was overcast and gloomy out (which is perfect for multichrome pictures, by the way), plus I was coming off of the week wearing Sally Hansen heart stickers, so, I figured a little swatch sesh was in order!  I've had the Hits Mari Moons for a while, I just haven't gotten around to trying them out until now.

 This here is two coats of Artsy shown over clear base coat and without top coat.  If I was wearing this as a mani I probably would've added a third coat just to be sure there weren't any translucent areas.  That, or layered it over black.

The brush on Artsy (along with every Mari Moon I have, save for one) was no fun and a challenge to work with.  I find the shape to be difficult for getting close to the cuticle area.  Also, there were splayed out bits and pieces.  I trimmed off the offending bits with my trusty Tweezerman cuticle nippers, which helped.

Instead of showing you all the swatches at once, in one ginormous post, I'm going to stretch it out.  :)  Stay tuned for all the others!

 I started with two coats of OPI Save Me.  Then I added a coat of Lynnderella Boy-Girl Party, because, why the heck not?!

 Well, let me go back...because after Save Me, I used a coat of Glitter Tamer and a coat of Poshe.

 Then, a coat of Boy-Girl Party, followed by another coat of Glitter Tamer and Poshe.  It was actually quite smooth!

 It reminds me of fireworks and New Year's, which is not very creative thinking on my part.  My friend at work told me that it reminded her of "unicorn-ness," or something like that.  I was thrilled and much prefer her idea!  We both reminisced about loving unicorns, Rainbow Brite, and Punky Brewster as little kids.

This last picture is probably my favorite.  I wore this for a just over two glorious days and I was sad to take it off last night (it started chipping).  And you know what else?  Removal with my beloved scrubby tub was shockingly NOT atrocious or hard!  Major win!

 I recently ordered some of Pam's Girly Bits polishes from here.

 Stormy Skies is the first of hers that I have used.  I only needed two coats and it applied very easily.  It also dried quite fast.  I used two coats of top coat because those adorable little micro glitters are kind of bumpy.

 The base of the polish is a squishy yummy blue-gray jelly.  I picked this polish yesterday morning because it was indeed a stormy, gloomy, ucky day.  I felt so proud of myself for matching my polish to the weather!!  :)

I honestly didn't expect to love this so much.  I wasn't even sure I was going to order it.  I am super happy I did, though!  I really, really love it.  You hit it out of the park, Pam!

 This is two coats of Hare Heffalumps.

 Heffalumps are from Winnie the Pooh, of course (kind of like elephants), and I adore the Pooh reference here.  I love Winnie the Pooh and everything about it!

 The base is a beautiful fuchsia sort of jelly color and swimming inside are large hexes of blue, silver, and pink (I think).

 I'm not going to sugar coat this, Nation.  Application was a total bear.  The glitters kept bunching up and it was hard to control the spread of the jelly, if you get what I mean.  I needed three thick coats of top coat, as well, and even still, it wasn't totally smooth after it dried completely (it looks perfectly smooth in these pictures because they were taken right after I painted my nails).

It's so stinking gorgeous, though!  I love it!  Well worth the pain.  If you want to learn more about Hare polish, go to Nikole's tumblr here.

 Webinarmy wore for an awesome four days for me, just so y'all know!  I decided it was time for another Lynnderella mani next, so that is what you see here.

 I began with two coats of Misa Working Hard or Hardly Working, a really pretty slightly blue-toned light gray.

 I added two coats of Mysterious Ways, followed by Glitter Tamer, Barielle Manicure Extender, and Seche Vite.  My favorite "piece" of this mani is the diamond you see on my thumb above!

In this last picture you can really see the cool iridescent blue shimmer in Mysterious Ways!

Sadly, I did have a few large and obnoxious bubbles (only on my left hand, though).  You can see them in the first few pictures if you didn't catch them already.  It wasn't so much noticeable in real life, though, so no big deal.  Also, I was lazy and didn't wrap my tips with Mysterious Ways, which I totally should have, because you can see how it kind of shrank back at the tips.

I absolutely loved this gorgeous and glittery periwinkle mani!  I only wish it had stayed on me better.  In less than 24 hours I found myself easily peeling it off in huge pieces.  :/  Ruh roh.

 This was the final mani I ended up with for Saturday night.

 These first two pictures are taken in early morning light and I also tried to "auto-enhance" them, which is why they look a bit kooky.  Sorry for that!

 What is it, you ask?  I used a coat of Illamasqua Boosh as underwear.  Then I used two coats of Lynnderella (click on her name to go to her blog) Thank Blue! followed by a coat of Piggy Polish Sunshine on Snowflakes, one of my favorite holo toppers.

 I used a coat of Gelous and then Seche Vite at the end.  Everything turned out super smooth and just lovely.

 I was a little worried about putting anything over top of a Lynnderella polish (somehow seems sacrilegious or like overkill), but I'm glad I took the chance with SoS.  I love how it looks!

 This mani reminds me of a way less cool blue glitter look I did about a year ago, here.

I also get the slightest bit of a Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe vibe...but I gotta say that this takes the win for me.

Thank Blue!, Lynnderella, for this amazing blue glitter polish!  And a Happy Blue Year to all!  :P

 Dear Ozotic 532, I love you with all my heart!!

 Get prepared for gobs of pictures.

 In this first group, I'm wearing two coats over black and I had used Sally Hansen Diamond Flash as my topcoat - such a sad choice actually, because it totally dulled the holo and took forever and a day to fully dry.

 Still, these pictures in the morning sun turned out pretty sweet!

 The main colors in 532 are blue, green, and purple.  Pink comes in to play after that.

 I had noticed that when I just had one coat of 532 over the black, the overall look was much more teal.

 Now these pictures are from a different application.  Here I still have two coats on over black, but topped it with SV and I'm happy to report no holo dulling and acceptable dry time!!

 This is in evening sun.  Also glorious!

 The holo effect in sun is just absolutely ridiculous.

 I don't know why I waited so long to wear this!  I don't ever want to take it off.

 I also have the other three holo-duo Ozotic polishes to try.  Which one should I do next?

 This mani definitely grabbed some attention.  My one coworker told me that it looked super amazing from far away (and that was indoors in bad lighting, too).

 I know it's hard to tell what's going on here just from all the different looking pictures.

 Let me just say this - unequivocally, you NEED this in your life!!

 At this moment, I'm having a wicked debate over what to change my nails to for New Year's.

 I have so many groovy ideas!

 What are you wearing?

 Oh!  I was going to tell you that 532 totally makes me think of the Northern Lights!

 I've never had the privilege of seeing them in person, and I hope some day that I can, but doesn't it just conjure a vision of shifting beautiful swirls of magical colors in the sky?  *sigh*  So dreamy!
