Another Smashing Favorite!

Dear Ozotic 532, I love you with all my heart!!
Get prepared for gobs of pictures.
In this first group, I'm wearing two coats over black and I had used Sally Hansen Diamond Flash as my topcoat - such a sad choice actually, because it totally dulled the holo and took forever and a day to fully dry.
Still, these pictures in the morning sun turned out pretty sweet!
The main colors in 532 are blue, green, and purple.  Pink comes in to play after that.
I had noticed that when I just had one coat of 532 over the black, the overall look was much more teal.
Now these pictures are from a different application.  Here I still have two coats on over black, but topped it with SV and I'm happy to report no holo dulling and acceptable dry time!!
This is in evening sun.  Also glorious!
The holo effect in sun is just absolutely ridiculous.
I don't know why I waited so long to wear this!  I don't ever want to take it off.
I also have the other three holo-duo Ozotic polishes to try.  Which one should I do next?
This mani definitely grabbed some attention.  My one coworker told me that it looked super amazing from far away (and that was indoors in bad lighting, too).
I know it's hard to tell what's going on here just from all the different looking pictures.
Let me just say this - unequivocally, you NEED this in your life!!
At this moment, I'm having a wicked debate over what to change my nails to for New Year's.
I have so many groovy ideas!
 What are you wearing?
Oh!  I was going to tell you that 532 totally makes me think of the Northern Lights!
I've never had the privilege of seeing them in person, and I hope some day that I can, but doesn't it just conjure a vision of shifting beautiful swirls of magical colors in the sky?  *sigh*  So dreamy!
Only a few more pictures.  I'll shut up now.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a safe and happy New Year's Eve!

My First Hare Mani!

I apologize that these pictures aren't so great.  But it's my first Hare mani!!!  :)
This is two coats of bio-exorcist over one coat of Diamond Cosmetics Plum Pie in the Sky.
As always, the mani is actually more purple overall and less blue in real life.
I ended up using a coat of Glitter Tamer, a coat of Seche Vite, and then a last coat of Barielle Manicure Extender over top of everything.  A bit much, it's true.
Everything is smooth and lovely, though!
I recently bought eight of the polishes offered by Hare and am super excited to be trying them in the future.  Availability is a little "hairy" at the moment, it looks, but you can find out more on Nikole's lovely site here.

Green Xmas (I know I'm late)

I have too many pictures.  Consider yourselves warned!  :)
This is two coats of Revlon ColorStay Rain Forest.  No top coat.
Application wasn't great - I don't love the brush and the formula was a little thick.
I forgive it, though, because it's so freaking gorgeous!
Check out all the yummy glass-flecked shimmah.
How could you not love this?
I found it at CVS with other new ColorStay polishes.  I was lucky enough to get them buy one get one half off, too.
This was my Christmas mani, so I added some gold glitter to pep it up.
I used one coat of Inglot 207 over top.
I put a coat of Revlon's ColorStay top coat over it all, and then a coat of the new Sally Hansen Diamond Flash.
The Diamond Flash dries to the touch pretty quickly, but does seem to take a while to completely dry on me (longer than I like).  I also got a few bubbles, which is never good!
I will say that once everything was completely and totally dry, it was rock solid!
I have to thank my online nail polish buddies for helping me come up with this combination.  I was feeling overwhelmed with choices, and they recommended this one.
 Thank you!  I loved it!
What did you wear for Christmas?  I have to say that I'm particularly fond of my pedicure combo - it's Zoya Ivanka topped with Diamond Cosmetics Chunky Red Glitter.  It's so festive and reminds me of elves.  :D
Thanks for looking!  This will officially be the end of the Christmas manis.  I just took this one off and changed it about an hour ago.

Red and Green

This started with one coat of a-england Camelot, a black creme.
Then, I added a coat of Lynnderella I Can Afford It!, which is a glorious green glitter.
And next I added a coat of Lynnderella Ruby Red Ruby, a very chunky red glitter.
To smooth it out, I used a coat of my new and improved, officially awesome Glitter Tamer, followed by two coats of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.
I wore this on Thursday and Friday.  It was perfectly Christmassy.
I hope everyone had really terrific holidays!  I had a great time with family and friends.  :)
